Festival of Lights Parade, Winter Festival & Downtown Activities

Historic Downtown Activities - Starting at 10 a.m.

Free family holiday movie at AMC Theater (limited seating), holiday carolers stroll through Historic Downtown Brighton, singing Holiday music dressed in traditional Dickens characters.

Business Open House

This begins at 11 a.m. throughout historic downtown. Scores of businesses open their doors and hearts to the citizens of Brighton and the surrounding areas with special sales, holiday activities and refreshments.

Winter Festival Events

Beginning in the early afternoon, families are invited to attend holiday activities at Historic City Hall (22 S. 4th Ave.) featuring Santa Comes To Town, Face Painting, Hay Rides, Petting Zoo, Winter Wonderland, Food Vendors, and Holiday Carolers

Festival of Lights Parade

All ages (estimated 20,000 attendees) enjoy this night-time light parade featuring local groups, organizations, businesses and families who create floats and entries in hometown traditional style and put the twinkle in everyone's eyes as they pass by!  United Power Tree lighting in front of Historic City Hall is at 4:30 p.m., then you can get comfortable to watch the parade that starts at 5 p.m.
