Mission Statement

Teens in a Pool

The Brighton Recreation Center Teen Program proudly serves hundreds of teens from Brighton and surrounding communities. Our goal is to improve the quality of life of teens and their families through the provision of leisure, recreation, and social activities.

Counselor in Training

New to Funshine this year! Our Counselor in Training program is for 13-15-year-old’s who are motivated to learn and develop leadership skills while working with kids in a day camp setting. The CIT program is a 3-week session that concentrates on leadership training, team building, skill development, and personal growth. In addition to participating in regular camp activities, the CIT’s will go through a variety of training to build skills that will make them effective leaders, improve their self-confidence and offer opportunities to be meaningful role models for our younger campers.

To register, fill out the online application at https://www.brightonco.gov/cit
