Mission Statement
The Human Resources Department provides support services in the recruitment, selection, and retention of employees; provides information on benefits, personnel rules and regulations, compensation, and training opportunities; ensures compliance with Local, State, and Federal regulations relating to employment and labor issues; administers workers' compensation, risk management, and property/casualty liability insurance programs; maintains personnel files for all city employees; Provides counseling and consultation to management and employees; and maintains classification system by conducting wage and salary studies and drafting job descriptions.
