The City of Brighton has been hard at work on a new online tool for residents. After nearly a decade of gathering data, verifying documents and compiling maps, an interactive look at geographic information is now available at https://bit.ly/2HrZhFH.
Residents can use this web-based map to obtain the following information:
-Future land use
-Planned Unit Developments (PUD)
-Downtown historic district boundary
-Measure distance and area
-Procure latitude/longitude coordinates at a certain location
-Hyperlinks to other great resources
This map will also feature public data of zoning, future land use, PUDs and annexations that can be exported into a spreadsheet on Microsoft Excel.
The data represented on this map will be updated as edits are made directly in the City of Brighton’s geographic information system database. This map will be made available as a resource for Community Development and anybody interested in city land use.
