The City of Brighton’s Office of Youth Services will host its youth-focused Image Summit March 8 and 9 at the Armory Performing Arts Center in Brighton.
This two-day youth conference for Colorado students ages 10-19 seeks to empower youth, build confidence, teach leadership, and inspire young leaders to use their voices to impact their communities and policy governance. Attendees will hear from impressive guest speakers and will have the opportunity to attend breakout sessions, speak to elected officials from across the state, and mingle with like-minded youth, while celebrating themselves and their diversity.
“Our goal is to educate, excite, and create an event that will resonate with our attendees for years to come,” said Brighton’s Community Resources Liaison Melinda Weatherholt. “This conference has been building active community members in Colorado youth for the past three years, and we are excited to host another group of youth from across the state in order to inspire them to be leaders in their communities.”
The cost to attend is $20.For more information or to register, visit the Image Summit event webpage at www.brightonimagesummit.org.
The Image Summit is sponsored by the City of Brighton and the Brighton Lodging Tax Advisory Committee.
