The Armory Performing Arts Center will host a second Dia de los Muertos Art Reception from 6-9 p.m. Friday, Oct. 27, at 300 Strong Street.
Attendees will have the opportunity to enjoy the Day of the Dead art exhibit, live entertainment featuring the Aztec dance troupe Huitzilopochtli and refreshments. There will also be face painting and sugar skull decorating at no cost to attendees.
This exhibit is a collaboration with Chicano Humanities and Arts Council (CHAC) Gallery and Cultural Center. The CHAC applied for and received funding from the Scientific and Cultural facilities District (SCFD) to partner with the Armory for this show.
