Elmwood staff seeking Cemetery Walk volunteers

The Elmwood Cemetery staff is still looking for volunteers to dress up and act for the community in its annualCemetery Walk from 1-3:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 14.

Each year, the event gives residents a peek into the lives of Brighton’s various city leaders, farmers, pioneers and soldiers buried in the cemetery – all of whom have a story to be shared. Elmwood Cemetery Manager Aaron Corr believes the walk will bring the history of Brighton’s past residents to life, in a fun and creative way.

Citizens interested in dressing up and acting as a past Brighton figure should contact Elmwood Cemetery Manager Aaron Corr at 303-655-acorr@brightonco.gov.
