Brighton, CO - Career and College Launch, a service offered by the Brighton Housing Authority, is now accepting scholarship applications. Three (3) scholarships of $1,000 each will be given to qualifying high school juniors, seniors, or non-traditional students:
Terra Management Scholarship - Awarded to an academically high performing student with plans to enter a trade school, college, or university.
Maria Alvarado Memorial Scholarship – Awarded to a student who has displayed an upward trend in their academic performance during their high school career.
Jessica Hara Memorial Scholarship – Awarded to a student with a passion for animals and plans to carry this passion into a post-secondary program that will lead to a career in the care of animals.
All scholarships are presented to highlight and perpetuate the high level of commitment and outstanding service provided by the individual or organization for which they are named, and honor deserving applicants within the community of Brighton.
The application deadline is at 3:00 P.M. MST, on Monday, May 8, 2017. Scholarship descriptions, eligibility requirements, and further information regarding application procedure are available on the Brighton Housing Authority website: www.brightonhousingauthority.org/scholarships.
