The Brighton Best of Times artist reception held on Feb. 3 introduced 73 local and regional artists to the public. The exhibit sparkles with 220 pieces of fabulous artwork in this winter into spring display.
The “Best of Times” exhibit features beautiful oils, acrylics, inks, watercolors, exquisite photography, digital paintings, feather art, fused glass, wearable art and fabulous collections to enhance your home, business or office with original artwork. This exhibit is free to the public.
Visitors at the recent reception selected five of their favorite reception artists and artwork by ballot. The five selected artists were recognized with a “Show Favorites” award and $50 in honor of their selection. Congratulations go to Matthew Jackson, Digital photographic artist for “Skyline” on metal, Benjamin Anderson for his Graphite/Color pencil “Ballerina’s Feat”, Joel Cook for “Little Flower” in oils, Denise Bowman for “Priceless” Black and White Photography and Sandie Mackenzie for “Old Rugged Cross” in Feather Blooms Mixed Media.
This show will be in exhibit through May 12. Visitors are welcome and tours are available Monday – Friday between 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. by appointment.
