The Big Little Idea contest is a city-sponsored contest that will award $500 each to six citizens, nonprofits or teams, to create and implement ideas that will make Brighton a better place to live, work, play and learn. Brighton residents are encouraged to show their love for Brighton through their ideas for fun things to do in Brighton or that create “love notes” around the community. Members of the Brighton community are encouraged to “think outside the box.”
The six winners are chosen by a judging panel consisting of city council members and appointed city staff. Winners will be selected based on the criteria for originality, connection to the community, and creativity.
