Sustainability

The City of Brighton is dedicated to advancing sustainability by being strategic about how we think about the future. We accomplish this by taking a long term perspective on projects, and through promoting equity, reducing environmental impact, and finding opportunities to generate savings through process improvement and return on investment.   

On June 4, 2024, the City adopted its first comprehensive Sustainability Plan. This plan includes all of the sustainability projects, incentives, and educational opportunities the City will focus on over the next five years. To read the full plan click on the image below.
