Don't miss the music at this year's Summerfest! The event's First National Bank Entertainment Stage will feature four musical performances throughout the day. The lineup is as follows:
10:30 a.m. - Noon: McCloskey & Miller McCloskey & Miller are about bluegrass. They play and sing with a nod to the masters while forging ahead with their own unique voices. Together they play songs about the good times and bad with honesty, grit and reckless precision.
12:30 - 2 p.m.: Dearling Dearling has a boldly ambient flare and a true mainstream hook. It's supposed to be about love. Real love. Which has dimension and dynamic and range. It's Colorado country music. A little alternative, a little folk, a little rock, and very country with as much soul in the lyrics as the melodies.
2:30 - 4 p.m.: Facing West Facing West is a sister duo of Caitlin & Sidney . Hailing out of the mountains overlooking Denver, these singing/songwriting teen sisters have been gaining recognition for their original music, pumped up with strong lyrics and engaging live performances.
5 - 7 p.m.: River Whyless River Whyless, an American folk band from Asheville, North Carolina, builds its music around fiddle, guitar and harmonies, with imagination and textures that set the band apart from many of its acoustic and folk-based peers. The group will be performing at well-known venues and festivals across the country in 2017, on their We All The Light tour. Their show at Summerfest in Brighton comes just one week before their performance at Bonnaroo Music Festival in Tennessee.
